Blackandgold.com Article
-By SaintsWrath 3:15pm est. Out of all of the Hoopla that has gone on with the Saints winning the NFC Championship, various other awards, then the Superbowl and everything leading up to it and everything after it.. We sometimes don't take the time to give credit to the people who work behind the scene to make sure these players end up at the right locations, organize autograph signings, go to events thrown for them and make sure they make those events on time, organize various other fan related events to make sure the fan-player interaction is content.. Without these unsung hero's working behind the background and being the shadow workers for these players these players would most likely disappoint a lot of people or seem stuck up when they didn't mean to be. We've seen Drew Brees and other players show up at places like Lucy's, Disney, Hotel parties, Tv Shows, talk shows, commercials, fan-fares, radio shows, Sitcom's, etc.. So i'll like to give this article and dedicate it to the Women, which have been the backbone for these players and kept them sane the entire time through this process while making things as comfortable and less stressful as possible for the players as they made their successful Journey through the 2009-2010 season.. Thank you Drew Brees Wife Britaney Brees. Thank you Sean Payton’s wife Beth Payton. Thank you Bobby McCray’s fiancee Khadijah Haqq. Thank you Scott Fujita’s wife Jaclyn Fujita. Thank you Reggie Bush’s girlfriend Kim Kardashian (-booty) Im sure other wives and girlfriends are involved but unfortunately not all the players share their business with the public and some are single but this is a thanks to all the women involved in keeping the players (their man) Sane, Organized, Coordinated, happy, relaxed, and making sure they're fans are happy. WHO DAT GIRLS!!! Damn Kim is hot, but Brittnay is real marriage material for REAL. In New Orleans we love our women as much as we love football.. (especially if they can cook!) Brittany is one lucky woman!
Don't forget Rachael Miller (Billy's wife) Alnessa Coleman-Goodwin (Jonathan's wife) Beth Evans (Heath's wife) Racquel Smith (Will's wife) Desha Gay (Randall's wife) Trying to think of who else I'm missing. |

Good read. I was thinking the last few days, the other unsung heroes are the scouts, trainers, doctors, position coaches and various other assistants. They may not be household names, but very often these are the guys who work most closely with the Saints players.

I agree with Neugey.
Those key staff members are important to any team. Saints front office of personnel too (ticket agents, secretaries, recpt, pr dept, scheduling, etc.) . It takes a whole lot of people to work for a sports org. Also, in thinking about coaches, players wives/girlfriends, it is not all glamourous. Sometimes people forget that. I read that Gregg Williams is here as coach, but his wife and high school aged child is still based in another state. Like with anyone, sometimes taking a job away, you cannot just uproot the kids from school at anytime and sell a house asap. This is a good thread. |
