Re: Reggie Bush could be a targer for the Lions in free agency
I'm with the majority here. LT is old. Keep Reggie and Pierre. Oh, and get rid of Kim! K thanks!

Re: Reggie Bush could be a targer for the Lions in free agency
RB is not an every down back. He's been injured pretty significantly each of his years as a pro. He's probably got 3 more good years in him, so if he restructures now, he'll retire a Saint. Otherwise, his first year of nonproductivity with a new team will find him living off his girlfriend's "famousness" for the rest of his life.
He doesn't have to give up a lot, he just needs to free up some space. He's being paid the HIGHEST RB money and he is, at best, top 30. which would be $2.5 million. Kevin Faulk is a $3.5 mill/year guy right now and he's your basic benchmark. M. Jones-Drew is a $6.1 million (cap) guy and he's an every down back. It doesn't matter how much you love RB, he's not productive enough at that position to merit being in the top 10. You could get 4 solid starters for that kind of money. Or two Pro Bowl caliber LB's + a solid scatback. |

.. if there's no cap next season, why would anyone care how much Reggie makes?

Yeah. Who cares what he's going to make. We all know the Benson's have an excellent history of paying players, and not letting them go somewhere else. What are we worried about here?

i actually just got off the phone w/ kim k. i used to date her. we actually made a sex-tape. anyways...she told me reggie loves the city, the fans, and the team too much to ever leave. she said, if he needs to, he'll restructure. she also reminded me, that her kitty is all the money he needs. and take it from me, thats the truth!
god, i cant believe i left her for shakira! |

Re: Reggie Bush could be a targer for the Lions in free agency
I wouldn't take Reggie at 8 mil, and I wouldn't take LT at any price.
Reggie had a nice year, less dancing but hardly a hard nosed runner or anything more than a change of pace back to create the odd mismatch. If he restructures, great, but if he won't he knows full well he's not a 8 million dollar back so everyone can interpret a lack of interest to restructure as his desire to move on. |
