Saints Super Bowl XLIV Commemorative Trophy - The Danbury Mint
I got this offer in the mail today, from Danbury Mint. This is actually a nice looking trophy. I don't know if anyone here, already put this up or not, but I think I'm going to order it. Seems like it will last alot longer, than most of the other stuff I've seen. Any thoughts? |

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA----CANTON.... your avatar!!!!!! haaaa!
Anyway, yeah, I agree the ball looks cartoony. What would be really cool is a mini-replica Lombardi, with a superimposed Fleur De Lis, just to offset any "too authentic" problems. Maybe there is some rule prohibiting you from copying the Lombardi trophy, even in miniature, I dont know, but if someone could make one, you know you'd buy it. 30 years from now you'd be at somebody's house in Houma, and he'd have one sitting around in his living room. |

back on topic....hahahaha.... yeah, I was there. actually hurt my back and I was rooting in pain with our other big mouths from B&G at the Inn On Bourbon, which btw, did a really poor job accomodating us. I've had over a week to simmer down and rethink that situation, not that I am proud of my behavior, but after some reflective time, I think I shall write Ramada corporate a nice communique. Anyway, thru the pain, thru the loss of my voice, which is like a carpenter losing his tape-measure, the celebration was lengthy and exhausting, and Im almost glad to see Ash Wednesday. There will be lots of goof -off time in the coming Shortest Offseason in the History of the New Orleans Saints. We will have much fun here, I guarantee. |

I don't think they have made them yet. The picture looks computer generated, so I don't think that's what it will look like when it's done. I also got a poster of it in the mail, and it looks the same way on there.
