this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; San Diego already has a "Bush type" player, in Sproles. I think they are probably looking for more of a power back....

He must have seen something there and learned something because that interception of Porter's was a turning point for the Saints. This Saints team, on a whole, seems to have been on the level. I know I am being negative here...Only thing I can think of, is the parade, #35 was doing the nasty dance and I thought that was really wrong. I assume they ,Saints pr, drilled the team before as to what not to do. I don't know why another team member told him to keep that at the club.Gross. |

I agree with you Choup. Payton and staff seems to be strict. I bet they are. With Shockey, I really think he is one of those types who is all shock and hype on the surface, but when it comes down to business, on the football field and preparing for the game, Shockey is all business.
This season was personal for him. Going against the Giants, his game, years in the NFL, injury before, he was on a personal misson . |

Re: Trade Bush for Cromartie?
bush will be hard to deal i'm thinking, has a big asking price with small market value. has a lot of mileage in 4 years in the league. the raiders maybe would be the idiots to deal that all pro corner asomugha for him

Re: Just an idea, I didnt say I supported it...
instead of trading Bush for a corner, why not just make him one...
he's got the speed, the ups, the strength... plus who would throw his way? auto pick six yes, it is a stupid idea... almost as bad as trading him for Cromartie |
