For me, the Falcons are always there...
All-time angry moment, Hebert the Trader doing his dirty bird, that MF'er... All-time hated moment, Mora the Incompetent allowing Morten to geaux and don the bird, that was a real MF... And when the Saints come riding high into this upcoming season; there will be a reminder from the Falcons and it will be so on...oh, so on... But now that we've got the top squad, I sure wish we had the 49'ers in the division so we could improve on that all-time vs. record... Since the Rams left the other LA, it's not the same... But NFL realignment got it mostly right with the Falcons v. Saints rivalry... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: New Arch Rivals?
I don't care how ugly the talk gets from the media, coaches, or players when the Saints play the Vikings or the Cowboys. The Falcons will always be the Saints biggest rivalry as long as they are in the same division. Both teams suffered years of futility, but even in the bad years, you could expect a Falcons/Saints game to be intense. Now that both teams have turned the corner and are competitive and in the running for the playoffs nearly every year, it just gets that much more intense. Also, since the Saints got a taste of the Super Bowl and won it, the Falcons are frothing at the mouth to get what we have. Oh, next seasons' games are going to be big!

If you live in NWLA, and you root for the Cowboys, I hope you get a serious case of the farts at a really bad time. |

Re: New Arch Rivals?
I selected "other" because the Saints will have a target on their uniform this season and every team will try to beat the defending Super Bowl Champions.
Every team is the enemy, more than ever. |

Every chance I get Mike. I do it with a smile though, I wouldn't want sombody confusing me with a Cowboys fan. I have all my saints gear with more on the way. I will be wearing it every weekend until the start of the 2010 season.

Re: New Arch Rivals?
It can be no one other than Atlanta. Second is not even close.
After them I would rank it Dallas, San Francisco still annoys me from the 80's, will always hate the Rams as well. Then Tampa and lastly Carolina. Always hate within your division. Minnesota is irrelevant. They are not even worth caring about. They are the Bills of the NFC. |

Re: New Arch Rivals?
It's a toss up between the Falcons and Cowboys. I don't like either team, although we had better respect them. Because if we don't keep an eye on them things could go wrong in a hurry. I hate the Cowboys because Jerry Jones ruined my daddy's Cowboys. I hate the Falcons because they are the strongest team in our division...........actually, I hate everybody.
