Still can't figure out why Pierre wasn't drafted originally. His Understudy, Rahard Mendenhall was taken by Pittsburgh. Anybody share some light on this

My guess is that Thomas and Mendenhall were sharing carries when Thomas left Illinois. His numbers weren't overly impressive honestly when he left because of the dual-back system.
Mendenhall on the other hand had a monster last season in college as I can recall meriting his pick by Pittsburgh. |

a role model on hard work and perseverance... so there are three only three questions... what will the market bear? what will the other back compromise? what will the draft afford? |
