It just the nature of things down there during "fest" weekends. I remember during Bayou Classic weekend, four people were wounded in a gun battle right in front of my hotel. Too bad you don't have to walk through a metal detector to get to Bourbon Street.

As far as the NOPD they move down that street as fast as they can and it’s a huge crowd to contend with

As far as people just partying like it never happened well that I can see
Some just don’t care (as we have seen so many times in the past)
And others were more then likely so drunk they didn’t even notice



that's why I don't go to the quarter during things like this
"The Classic" <----- ----- especially this one anyone with half a brain would not find themselves dead in the quarter for this event or they just might end up dead!!!

That's not a joke. I know first hand, because I use to work down there every year for this event at LFHC and they use to jack the price up 40 bucks a head because things would get so out of control during that weekend.

But didn't they move The Classic to FL?
