What about Saints on Thanksgiving Day 2010
I think that the Saints will open at home with either Minn or Pitt on
the Thursday night opener. Dallas will be playing an NFC team this year on Thanksgiving and They are on our Schedule as an away game. What do yall think the chances are of us playing them on Thankgiving Day this year? I don't think the Saints have ever played on Thanksgiving Day. |

I doubt it because it is typical to have a boring matchup with Dallas and Detroit on Thanksgiving day. Probably Cleveland.

Re: What about Saints on Thanksgiving Day 2010
I hope not. I want to go to Dallas and watch the Saints take them apart in the Palace. If it's on Thanksgiving, I won't be able to go. So my vote is for NO Saints on Thanksgiving.

No. We have enough weird kickoff times. This year was tough because of all the weirdness. In fact the only advantage to rooting for a team that sucks is that you always get the same ol noon start on Sunday.
The more normal our schedule is, the better. Old Guys, have we ever played on Thanksgiving? |

I think with success more weird start times come. I am ok with it though
sure beats all those years with noon kickoffs but no success. |

Winning has put on on all these wierd non-rhythmic schedules--- harder for the players, and I think a little trickier for us. |

I'm all for the weird start times - those tend to be nationally televised games (which means more exposure for our team) and the only way I get to see a Saints game on tv here in DFW. Bring on the Sunday Night & Monday night games!

Re: What about Saints on Thanksgiving Day 2010
i've been going every 3 years to dallas for thanksgiving since 1997, its a family tradition. i hate the cowbums its my history. but being in dallas is an awsome place for the holiday. but being it was last thanksgiving we were there it won't matter to me if they play in 2010.it would have been nice to see the saints in jerry world. i know my bro who lives there and is a huge saints fan like me would love it if they hook horns, he won't be coming to lafayette i'm sure
