The defense is only going to get better, if the offense stays intact(though its hard to repeat in the NFL) I think we have a decent shot. I have no idea how we are behind the Chargers in terms of odds of winning Superbowl. Most ridiculous thing I've seen. I don't understand the Colts thing either, but its a little more unstandable as they have a much easier time getting through the AFC than we do the NFC(especially if the Vikes are as good as they were this year). Chargers are a good team, but come on; makes no sense.

Careful with that "dynasty talk". I asked the question last year if the team was built to be a dynasty. I got rolled on the carpet, but it was all in good faith. No one wanted to jinx the team. Personally, I believe that Benson has rebuilt the franchise to put it in contention for a long time. We have a great leader at QB and a brilliant head coach.

When we've won 4 trophies in 6 years ala the Steelers in the 70s, THEN we can talk dynasty. For now, I'm ready to talk NFC domination for the next few years.

After finally getting the first Super Bowl out of the way, I would be absolutely fine with this scenario.

Chances of repeating are always slim, but the Saints should have a legitimate shot at it. The roster should stay relatively intact, a lot of it is going to be how fast can they get their focus back. I do believe the team is mature enough to handle it.

If most of the core guys stay around then the Saints have a great chance to stay as the best in the NFC. I can't wait to see what this defense can do with another offseason under the coaching of GW
