Shefter: Saints won't tag Sharper
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We fans need to realize Sharper is a great ball hawk but that's it. He's not worth the 6 mil franchise tag. Not even in an uncapped year. His run support/tackling is under par. I'm not just saying that either, ...

I'm not just saying that either, if you watch the games from this year he wiffs on tackles quite often. in the SB Addai made him look silly more than once.
Harper is good at these things, yes, but for Ed Reed/ Troy P money you need to be able to do everything. And that's the kind of money he would get with a franchise tag. |
