Trade Idea

Jamaal Brown and our 1st for Buffalos #9 overall pick and select Rolando Mcclain. Mcclain is gonna be better than P-Willy one day and i personally think he will be better as an OLB than a MLB

actually might not be enough... a perinally injured player and 32nd pick for number 9 pick might not get it done ... but i will say the more tide players in black and gold the better. Mcclain is a heady player.

Re: Trade Idea

If he's as good as Patrick Willis, he won't be around for the 9th pick.

If we decide to trade JB then this is certainly a viable option.

Re: Trade Idea

He is an all-pro LT....while i agree we can get something for him, i think giving up him AND a 1st round (32) is alot...that 32 spot is a good one to be in.....alot of people may want to move back into the 1st to pick up a player that has fallen

Tampa Bay, Kansas City have two 2nd rounders
New England has 3

good point ... a first rounder should be enough. It would be great to own two first round picks!

Must be a die hard Bama fan to even consider a deal such as this... crazy.

Re: Trade Idea

Why so high? Some great talent in the first this year. I say go mid range say

14. Seattle- Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech

The best pure 4-3 DE in the draft? Stop the run equally as rush the passer.

Swap 32 for 14 ( trade value:510)

Part 2 swap 40 for 64 (trade value:220)

40) Seattle Seahawks – Lamarr Houston, DT, Texas

Re: Trade Idea

do not trade a proven pro bowl LT and a potential starter for 1 questionable draft pick 20 spots earlier

especially in the first round

the 1st round is the biggest gamble out of any other round....why? because you pay the player starter money.....you expect them to start....and they may end up retiring as soon as they sign the dotted line ala eric crouch.

NO.......im not a fan of screwing around with the offensive line in the first place and trading away any of our starters including goodwin would be a mistake

Re: Trade Idea

I have to agree with Canton. There is too much of a gamble with a first round pick. Anybody remember Jonathan Sullivan? Yeah, nuff said.

Brown is worth a first rounder on his own. Now, if someone wants to give that up, I wouldn't mind getting another 1st rounder, to go with the other one.

Here's Sully now... and back then!

Is he worth the draft picks?

J. Brown, L. Moore, S. Shanle, L. Hamilton, C. Reis, C. Daniel and the #32 to the Rams for the #1 and draft Suh. LOL!

Don't you think you could get that same deal with just Brown and #32?
I would want to keep Shanle, Moore (especially), and Reis.

None of the above guys can impact a game the way Suh can. Plus, it's a need position on the Saints. Brees made Moore. Anywhere else he's average. Shanle is an average player. Reis is an easily replaceable special teamer. Vaughn will take his roster spot anyway. Not that it would have chance at happening anyway.
