Re: Drew wants LT in Black&Gold
I haven't followed LT much. Yes, he's 31. Yes, he's definitely worn off more tread than his tires have left on them. But here's the important question, at least in my mind. How healthy has he been in his career so far? Has he been an every game back, or has he had stretches where he's sat out chunks of a season (3+ games) at a time? Reggie is great when he has his head in the game, but he's injury prone. PT is great as well, but he's also been bit by the injury bug the last couple of seasons.
Would LT be the back that can stay injury free and consistently produce week after week for us? (Paging BOLTS4LIFE) |
I'm a pilgrim in an unholy land: I'm a SAINTS fan living in DFW and I HATE the Cryboys.

Re: Drew wants LT in Black&Gold
Then that's probably the answer. There's no sense in letting go of a horse with questionable legs for a tired workhorse with questionable legs if it doesn't make the team better as a whole.
Yes, we won the Superbowl. Now we have to get better and keep the team moving FORWARD. |
