I think you've got it there...

We were pretty sucky with him in there .... so yeah ... it's time for an upgrade.

I've noticed a trend. Many of you seem disloyal to the players that just won a super bowl for you.

I say if this trend continues those folks should have to move to MinnieSoooota or Indi.

Try to stay loyal to the men who just went to war for you and won... at least for a short time remain loyal to them.

Jah forbid Brees gets hurt, if so Brunell's experience won't be a bad thing. He sure is in synch with the kicker too.

You da man Brunell. I say we keep you and cut a few fans.

Apportez le bois. Deux cela. Qui est celui?

Re: New Orleans Saints backup QB Mark Brunell hopes to remain with team

I only have this opinion based on what I seen from Brunell, great guy but I don't think he can do it anymore. He was down right shaky in the pre-season last year, and looked horrible when playing in the regular season. He was however an excellent holder. No shame, the guy had his great moments. I honestly think the Saints need to go into another direction with the backup QB spot. I would like to see the Saints go after another veteran. I don't think Daniel is ready to play at this point. I really like Bulger or Pennington if they become available.

I was at the Carolina game and even the Panthers' fan were saying that Brunell sucked. I appreciate all he has done and would like for him to stay to help out, but we really need some younger blood to be able to help out in a tight spot! Have to continue building your team, even if it means saying goodbye to our oldies, but goodies!
