The two sides will eventually come to an agreement, in time to avoid losing the 2011 season. And to accomplish that, the players association will have to compromise more than the owners. But the billionaire owners can afford to ride out a season with no football; the millionaire players may not be able to afford it in terms of a downgrade in lifestyle.
