Houser is younger than Kyle; he would not have been cut, except to avoid the locker room distraction that can frequently derail an otherwise championship season.

In retrospect, releasing Houser turned out to be the correct move by the Saints.

The lawsuit is pretty fresh. It was filed this month.

Turned out to be a great move. Can't complain about the end result...

Hartley and Morstead seem pretty satisfied.

You mean like people suing the Saints over their fan's chant? Yeah. :brood:

I think it probably taught everyone a lesson. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. You'd think guys like Brees, Payton, and Archie Manning would have already learned that lesson, but I think they all got off relatively cheap for the lesson they learned. I.E., don't take financial advice from your long snapper.

Even better advice is, "Money, and friends, don't mix." I'm sorry, but I have never had good experience, with investments, or money loans, when friends are involved. And with those numbers I just seen, they must have thought of him that way, or it never would have happened.

Don't know how we won a Superbowl without him.

I agree with stockman about the old saying: If it is too good to be true, then it is not true.
I agree with saintpaul.
Add, you don't mix business with family/friends or pleasure.
Add, if you are putting up money,RESEARCH. Do the homework.
Do an FBI/IRS Fed Pros. type investigation.

OK...I'm not an accountant or tax expert, so someone help me out here.
If these guys went into this venture for tax purposes, wouldn't a total flop allow them to write the whole thing off...so....shouldn't they be happy?
