Memo to Grant: The Saints actually won a Super Bowl without you in the line up. Nothing but the best of wishes, no grudges held. Very good player when you decided to play. (Can't hold the past couple years against him, dude was injured, but throughout his career he was always up and down).

Re: Charles Grant

delusional idiot

his fat contract cost guys their jobs and limited our ability to sign more FA's over the past 2 years

take your 5 sacks to Carolina or Atl: they'll definitely want you after they have shut you down for 5 years, moron

Hey, Charles. If you had exerted as much energy on the field as you have *****ing and moaning, you might not have gotten cut.

Charles Grant wants to become a Saints' rival

Former New Orleans Saints' defensive end Charles Grant will no longer be in the Superdome wearing black and gold. But if it was up to him, he'd be back once a year in different colors.

Grant did an interview with Sirius NFL Radio and let the world know which teams he wants to possibly play for. Two of those teams are right in the NFC South and would end up playing the Saints twice each season.

The often injured defensive end let it be known that he would like to play for the Carolina Panthers or the Atlanta Falcons. Another possible destination for Grant is Tennessee where he could be a member of the Titans in the AFC.

Re: Charles Grant

That dude need to get over himself, Saints won without him, his production was next to nothing during the season and he'd run his mouth to get our Rivals Locker room material if i was to think deep into it i'd actually think he didn't want the Saints to win a Championship, i think he truly was with Saints for the money and thats it, i don't think he ever wanted the Saints to win a championship.. But thats my other thinking like that.
The other side basically is saying Charles is a Overpaid Crybaby Chump and i hope Drew Brees and the OL gives him HELL no matter where he ends up.
Lest he forget Drew Brees, Sean payton and Gregg Williams knows his strengths and weaknesses and believe me he has some weaknesses!

Re: Charles Grant

Maybe Charles Grant feels he has the most values to our division rivals because he give opponents insight into our playbooks. Don't know what the problem is, maybe he didn't like being cut but we let him go early.

Re: Charles Grant

I don't think it's about getting back at the Saints for anything. I took his comment to mean he just wants to be close to his home state of GA. If it was all about playing the Saints twice a year, he would have said Tampa instead of Tennessee.

I say lay off the dude. It's not his fault he was overpaid.

we already laid him off

'overpaid' means he got more than he was worth, meaning if HE performed at a higher level, increasing his worth, he would have not have been overpaid. So, yes, it is partially his fault, and he got cut because of it
