Charles Grant
It appears Charles is upset with the Saints.
Charles Grant @siriusnflradio wants to play for the hometown #falcons or #panthers so he can play the #saints twice a year also said #titans 13 minutes ago via web |
Re: Charles Grant
bring it on big boy, finally something lights a fire under your ass.
|
Re: Charles Grant
Where did things go wrong with him???..Oh wait 60 million answers to that question..
|
Re: Charles Grant
I'm sure Stinchcomb went right out and grabbed a bottle of Xanax to deal with the crippling anxiety that this tweet caused.
:ohno: |
Re: Charles Grant
That would be awesome. Let the Falclowns pay him bit $$$ for the few games per year he would actually play hard.
|
Re: Charles Grant
If he goes to Atlanta, he will be a fixture on the police blotter.
|
Re: Charles Grant
why in the world would he be upset with the saints? we paid him more money in 1 season than he earned his entire career?
if he should be upset with anybody.....its this son of a *****.....just look at his beady eyes http://www.rockthelist.com/wp-conten...ppin-fresh.jpg |
Re: Charles Grant
Ya'll leave Charles alone. He's just trying to feed his ego...errr...his family.
|
Re: Charles Grant
maybe he can go to atlanta and find his old college buddy sully to go with him...hell get AB to go too
|
Re: Charles Grant
Remember a few years ago, Tampa was interested in him. If I remember correctly, he was a RFA then? He visited with them, if I am right, but I could be wrong. Either way, good riddance.
|
Re: Charles Grant
What a fat, over paid released cry baby ... after the contract the Saints gave him it looked he lost any sense of fire that he had when he first came into the league. I hope he goes to Atlanta or Carolina so Stinch can hand him his arse twice a season
|
Re: Charles Grant
I hope we can play him twice in a year as well! $$$ caused his complacency.
|
Re: Charles Grant
Aww, get over it Charles. Be happy we kept your big ass around as long as we did!
|
Re: Charles Grant
He got paid well, ate well, and ended his career with the Saints winning a championship. He needs to be grateful and move on with this life. He needs to flush all that bitterness down the blowhole.
|
Re: Charles Grant
May be he's hanging out with his old buddy Sullivan?
|
Re: Charles Grant
Memo to Grant: The Saints actually won a Super Bowl without you in the line up. Nothing but the best of wishes, no grudges held. Very good player when you decided to play. (Can't hold the past couple years against him, dude was injured, but throughout his career he was always up and down).
|
Re: Charles Grant
delusional idiot
his fat contract cost guys their jobs and limited our ability to sign more FA's over the past 2 years take your 5 sacks to Carolina or Atl: they'll definitely want you after they have shut you down for 5 years, moron |
Re: Charles Grant
Hey, Charles. If you had exerted as much energy on the field as you have *****ing and moaning, you might not have gotten cut.

Charles Grant wants to become a Saints' rival
Former New Orleans Saints' defensive end Charles Grant will no longer be in the Superdome wearing black and gold. But if it was up to him, he'd be back once a year in different colors.
Grant did an interview with Sirius NFL Radio and let the world know which teams he wants to possibly play for. Two of those teams are right in the NFC South and would end up playing the Saints twice each season. The often injured defensive end let it be known that he would like to play for the Carolina Panthers or the Atlanta Falcons. Another possible destination for Grant is Tennessee where he could be a member of the Titans in the AFC. Charles Grant wants to become a Saints' rival |

Re: Charles Grant
That dude need to get over himself, Saints won without him, his production was next to nothing during the season and he'd run his mouth to get our Rivals Locker room material if i was to think deep into it i'd actually think he didn't want the Saints to win a Championship, i think he truly was with Saints for the money and thats it, i don't think he ever wanted the Saints to win a championship.. But thats my other thinking like that.
The other side basically is saying Charles is a Overpaid Crybaby Chump and i hope Drew Brees and the OL gives him HELL no matter where he ends up. Lest he forget Drew Brees, Sean payton and Gregg Williams knows his strengths and weaknesses and believe me he has some weaknesses! |
Re: Charles Grant
Maybe Charles Grant feels he has the most values to our division rivals because he give opponents insight into our playbooks. Don't know what the problem is, maybe he didn't like being cut but we let him go early.

Re: Charles Grant
Couldn't happen to a nicer team =P

Re: Charles Grant
I don't think it's about getting back at the Saints for anything. I took his comment to mean he just wants to be close to his home state of GA. If it was all about playing the Saints twice a year, he would have said Tampa instead of Tennessee.
I say lay off the dude. It's not his fault he was overpaid. |
Re: Charles Grant

'overpaid' means he got more than he was worth, meaning if HE performed at a higher level, increasing his worth, he would have not have been overpaid. So, yes, it is partially his fault, and he got cut because of it |
Re: Charles Grant
It seem like some lit a fire under his BUTT
|
Re: Charles Grant
The venom around here is just downright poisonous. He got cut and is now looking for another job, preferrably where his friends and families are near. Let it go...and let him go. He did "some" good things while he was here and now its over - see ya! But no need for the hate.
|
Re: Charles Grant
Screw him, ever since he got that fat contract, his fat ass hasnt done diddly poo. What did he have like 1 sack last year. I hope he plays for a rival team so he can suck it up against us.
|
Re: Charles Grant
I totally trust Loomis & Coach Payton. Together they will build a dynasty and all of these cry baby players will be sorry they weren't part of it.
|
Re: Charles Grant
:-D Whatever
:bng: |
Re: Charles Grant
as much as i want to rip grant for this, its hard
we are all talking like we have been winning for ages now and we never needed his help fact of the matter is that we are a dramatically different defense without him, fujita(and sharper) 2(or 3) starters on a defense is a lot to lose.......especially when our defense wasnt that great to begin with we have a lot of work to do to get back to super bowl contenders.....nobody likes grant because the production wasnt always there in sacks.....but dude was a run stuffing machine and you guys also forget how much harder it is to sack a QB when he can see you coming....grant always rushed from the front side and was never built to rush the passer in the first place it will be rough having to replace grant and fujita while also trying to find a dominant force in the middle to help stop the run finding 3 quality starters in 1 year isnt the easiest thing to do |
Re: Charles Grant
awwwwwhhhhhhhhhhh. He never lived up to his hype and damn sure won't do it for anyone else at his age.
|
Re: Charles Grant
I always said if the opposing QB had chikin wings tied to him Grant would have broke the record for sacks in a single season..
