Re: Loomis may stand pat at LB
Fujita did miss 6 games so these guys did get on the field, but there was a reason fujita was starting. Our front 7 is not good enough to work in another marginal player as a starter

Yer we need upgrades in our front 7, I think stanley arnoux needs serious consideration at outside backer, he has wat we need, speed to get to the outside and I think he wud fit well in williams system

i kinda like our WLB collection and would be willing to go another year and find out what we got. But SLB is another issue all together. A true SLB would be nice in the first three rounds of the draft. Using WLB at SLB just did not cut it. DE is understandable.

Re: Loomis may stand pat at LB
So what is everyone thinking, DE as in a starter, or for depth? We have paid McCray starter money for two years now. It is time for him to step up or follow Grant out the door.
I would love to see us go BPA on D in the first 3 rounds, and then get some O-line depth after that. We need another skill player on offense like Sharper needs another press release, so hopefully SP won't be tempted. |

i'm thinking a DE as a starter, but work mccray in on a rotation. I am sure gregg genious could find a way to get the best pass rushers on the field all at once!!!! if we can get our front 7 top 15 wise, our secondary is already top 15, our d would be unstoppable!!! |

Re: Loomis may stand pat at LB
I'm ok with Arnoux or Casillas winning a starting job and not drafting an LB. I'm ok as long as Troy Evans and Jo-Lonn Dunbar aren't being passed off as starters.

Re: Loomis may stand pat at LB
I'm sticking with DT, as our most glaring need on D-line. I got so tired of long runs up the middle last year, that I almost puked a couple of times. DE would be next in line, and LB, would probably be third. Although, this is supposed to be a very deep draft for DT's this year, so I don't know. Probably why I don't do this for a living...
