you know if the lions sign him away we get pick 66? maybe ok. the draft looks good through the fourth. but i really like him. love to see him play in position and not nt

If they felt he could be the starter opposite Smith at DE, then I would keep him. But, looking back at how he was used last year as a situational player and backup, and with his off-field concerns and this being a deep draft, I would take the draft pick. There are a couple of third round NT's, and LB's that would have a legit shot of starting for the Saints.

It would be excelent value but the draft is always a gamble. We got a guy whos good that we know what he can do. Why let him go?

Get the team younger? Ask the Bucs, how that worked out for them this past season. There is something to be said for old dogs, and this guy isn't even that old. Keep him.
