Hargrove, a productive pass-rushing tackle in New Orleans' up-tempo scheme last year, would cost the Lions a third-round pick to acquire via an offer sheet. The Lions have heavily targeted defensive line upgrades in free agency.

I hope he stays in New Orleans. I like his tenacity and he was a valuable piece on the defensive line when injuries started piling up.

I don't think we have seen all of Hargroves potential, we can't loose this guy.

Please match any offer Saints. Third rounder isn't nearly enough compensation for his high motor.

I agree a third rounder is not enough. At the end of the season he was without a doubt our best Kickoff Coverage guy. He plays with a non stop motor and is extremely inspirational to our team.

I say keep him, but it would be what, the 66th pick in return? Not bad

Re: Lions Looking at Hargrove

Well he was selected 3rd Round 91st overall by the Rams in 2004. But he is also a proven commodity for us. It's a bit of a toss up in my mind depending on how much the Lions throw at him $$ wise.

At 6-3, 272 lbs, you'd have to find a me a player in the third round that is as good or better than he is.

I like what he brings to the team. He'll get some looks but I think we'd match any reasonable offer.
