Re: Position Breakdown: LineBacker
i like shanle and vilma and i think arnoux can do a good job at strong side
but i havent seen him play yet other than in highlight videos so idk if he can start consistantly none of the other guys are starter worthy |

Re: Position Breakdown: LineBacker
Dang running out of picks. We are loaded with WLB and Have a decent set at MLB. It is the SLB that worries even more than last year,
I would love to add a top flight SLB but the numbers are not looking good. We will have to move into the teens to have a shot IMO. if so I want Sergio Kindle, Texas no surprise there at SLB. if not go play maker at WLB in Sean Weatherspoon, Missouri if sit pat then I see us waiting. A.J. Edds, Iowa in the third is my pick right now. Stevenson Sylvester, Utah in the sixth? nah he will be gone god only knows what SP does in the sixth |

Re: Position Breakdown: LineBacker
If we go lb in the first rd it will only be if Weatherspoon is there. He would be the last of the top flight OLBs left.

Re: Position Breakdown: LineBacker
Shanle and Vilma are our only proven players and Fujita was our second best LBer. That leaves us real real thin at the moment because I'm not inspired by our other backups.

Re: Position Breakdown: LineBacker
Vilma is the only outstanding player we have at LB. Shanle is a smart player with more heart and football knowledge than talent. Draft priority must be to add talent at LB!

Re: Position Breakdown: LineBacker
Yep, this linebacker group is overall weak. Saints need some upgrades big time.

I agree with the panel on this one too. Must be addressed in either FA, or the draft, or preferrably both. I was hoping to maybe get Foote in for a dress rehearsal, but he signed a 3 year with the Steelers, as a back up. Still think that's kind of weird.
