Shockey's contract situation...
 

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but didn't we sign him to an extension last year? If not, then what is his current contract, and when does it end? He's another guy, that we need to lock up, for the duration of his career in my opinion.

When is the last time we drafted a GOOD TE that stayed with the team for awhile?

It might be time to look into that realm of getting a TE.

Shockey is signed through 2011. FA in 2012

Shockey for two more seasons is about right. No sense in extending him at this point.

I wasn't a big fan of the Shockey trade. But, he has shut me up very nicely.
