Re: How would people feel if we drafted Tebow?
I have only seen brief glimpses of Tebow so I don't have any feeling towards this guy (although some people do seem to hate him for no reason) I couldn't care less if he can throw a ball through concrete or can run all over the field. What I want to know is; Is he accurate? How cerebral is he? and does he possess leadership qualities? and if he does, can he transfer it to the pros? We all know that Payton runs a complex system and to be honest, I feel that very few quarterbacks out there could do it justice. So, even those that seem to dislike him, what is he like as a player (I do know that we're not necessarily aiming for him but would like to hear some opinions)

Re: How would people feel if we drafted Tebow?
Ill take this one, Although I am not a believer of Tebow as a pro Quaterback , and i dont particularly care for the media love affair whit him., I do respect his on field accomplishments. I have seen him run head up into some stiff deffenders and keep going. He is one of a select few Quaterbacks who play the position like a running back. I think he is a tough KID. I think he has football smarts. ( No matter what the wonder lick says) I do not prescribe to that test as having any credability. I think this kids ego will cost him millions. If he were to be willing to play TE for example he could be a above average talent, as a quaterback he is destined to a Grossmanesque (Rex) type carreer. I am an Alabama fan but I live in Louisiana and watch alot of football. My neighbor is from florida and is a HUGE Florida fan. I say this to say that I have seen MANY Tebow games through outhis whole career at florida. I just havent seen adequate progression as a Quaterback from him, but have seen the development of a football player. Thias is why I think a position switch is best for the next level.

I can tell you one thing; It's going to make the NFL draft interesting. He could go anywhere from the number 5 pick to undrafted. I hope he doesn't show up in person as he was invited to do. Can you imagine having to watch the pain and anguish he's going to go through with every pick and the commentators saying that every pick is going to be Tebow for however long it takes?

I still cringe when I think of Brady Quinn's expression being close-up'd every time he got passed on. |

just because he can run doesnt mean he has to. i love to watch QBs run because it shows how heads up they are......if the WRs arent open, why force it? if you can get a few guaranteed yards with your feet is it worth it to risk an INT? maybe not

you'd never see him smile after a loss.....why should he? you play to win....and despite all his hard work and all his dedication, sometimes it just wasnt enough how terrible would you feel at work if you worked on this huge project for months....had everything perfected.....and then at the presentation something gets screwed up and the whole project is ruined? you would've done all that work for nothing thats how he felt after a game and i imagine thats how tebow felt after those games |
