I actually think this rule will help the Saints, unlike the other rules that were adopted. I know the Saints do not need any help with in the fan noise department, but this can only help as there are dead quiet times that needs a little help... Now if you really want the fan noise, sell 16oz draft beer for a dollar for the entire game. I am sure stadium security would hate the NFL for it... LMAO

The NFL have just passed a ruling that the Superdome can only allow 150 fans in at any given game. This is due to the fact that we were too noisy and it was not fair on the other team. Thefans that do go must promise not to be too loud but must show their support by clapping their hands (high-fives will be allowed but only if we behave) Also, opponents can have a maximum of two defensive players in the Saints huddle so they have an idea of what we are planning. NFL officials will also be stationed outside the 'Dome to make sure we leave in an orderly fashion and on Bourbon Street to make sure no excessive dancing happens. Hats are allowed in the 'Dome but giant foam fingers are not. No aggressive slogans must be shouted out and a total of 10 'Who Dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints' are allowed and the fans must decide at what point in the game they will say it and submit it 2 minutes beforehand, in writing, to the sideline judge. Until we hear 'Who Dat is eligible' we must not say it or we will be penalised 10 fans so they will have to leave.
This might just be a rumour so check your sources.

Crowd noise might provide an intimidation factor or mess with the visiting team's psyche, but a truly disciplined team isn't that affected by the crowd.

Anybody remember how many false starts Minn had in the championship game? Zero. And Favre was audibling all nite. And sorry, 12 men on the field is from being dumb, not deaf

I like the rule-- I think it will actually encourage Saints' fans to be louder, just to keep up the rep.
