New Orleans Saints announce Pre-Season Schedule

Jude Young - The World Champion New Orleans Saints will host the San Diego Chargers in a nationally televised game on CBS for the third of four preseason games in 2010.

The Saints-Chargers game is slated for Friday, August 27 at 7 p.m. local time.

The Saints open the preseason on the road in Foxboro against the New England Patriots and also will travel to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans in their final exhibition game.

Home games for New Orleans include their home opener against the Houston Texans in the second week of preseason as well as the Chargers tilt.

The NFL preseason begins when the Cincinnati Bengals face the Dallas Cowboys in Canton, Ohio for the annual Hall of Fame Game on Sunday August 8 at 7 p.m. central time on NBC.

Thats going to be a pretty tough pre-season...Well the Pats and the Bolts anyway. Pre-season or not, Pats will be looking for some payback.

Does anyone know if there's a reason we've played the texans in preseason for the past like 4 seasons? Just wondering lol anyway shud b a gd preseason!

Saves traveling cost so teams can scrimmage against each other.

We do it almost every year.

i know there was a practice sche. last year that ended in fights. then we had preseason game with them. maybe they want to build another atlanta west.
