Alex Brown would be good to have here in NO. I'm glad he's coming here first before making the rounds because if Payton and Williams like him they are smart enough to know how to deal with him and his agent. I believe that he could help us in our quest for a repeat.

Re: Alex Brown to visit Saints tuesday
From Times Picayune:
Perhaps the biggest question surrounding Brown, though, is whether he can play the left end position in the Saints' defense. In Chicago, Brown -- who played in every game since to the second game of his rookie season in 2002, the second-longest active streak by a defensive lineman in the NFL -- primarily played right end.But that position with the Saints is occupied by Will Smith. At 6 feet 3, 260 pounds, Brown doesn't appear to be a perfect fit to play left defensive end, which typically is opposing offenses' strong running side. |

Well I guess we'll find out if he can play defense now. I think he has at least 2 years left. Now we go after Kindle, Witherspoon or Bowman with the first pick and then Anthony Dixon at #64
