Even really good soccer players couldn't get a place kick airborne when the ball settled an inch into the mud. Now that a lot of our big schools are going to synthetic turf, I see Mississippi discarding the tee soon.
Yea our field is used by 2 seperate 5A High schools and never gets a break!!! Ther is a game there every week and if we both have home games which happened twice last year one is played on Thursday the Friday game is in trouble. Gets comical (in a sad way).
By mid season you need a magnyfying glass to find grass on the field.
