this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I heard from multiple sources that the most of the team was pretty wasted the night of the SB parade. My cousin said Hartley was dancing around and everyone within a five block radius could tell he was tanked!...

The pressure for a kicker is probably greater than any other player except the QB...and even the QB gets to go over to the sideline and watch often times when there is 2 secs. left and 45 yards between them and victory...and some foreign dude (not so many foreigners anymore but boy you shoulda been around in the 70's) is out there with the whole game on him.![]()
There's no doubt about the pressure kickers feel just about every game except for the laughers. Hartley even dreamed about the NFC game winning kick before it happened. Yep...he was dancing to try to release all that stored, excess adrenaline...and like I said...I can relate to that. |
