That's the tender offer, your main goal is to not spend more than you need to in order to keep some other team from signing the player to a qualifying offer. Since no team made such an offer, I would say the team was successful. They are working on a long term contract with him, and I think they will get it done. I have no idea why people are concerned that the April 15 deadline has passed. That is a good thing. |
