So here\'s the real question - do we make a change at head coach mid-season? I saw a bag-head tonight. Benson\'s gotta be very upset and very worried. Do you think it\'s worth dumping Haslett, McCarthy, and Venturi early and just see what youcan do? Or do you just write the season off and look towards next year?

The announcer sounds like a broken record , another perfect pass by Peyton Manning .
Although I must say the last one to Marvin Harrison was perfect .

No coaching change... a lot has to do with the injuries but this isn\'t a very well coached team. D-Cord, does need to be fired after this game though.

I keep reading here about Eli Manning like he\'s gonna ride in and save the day. If the Saints were fortunate enough to get him he\'d just be another young player poorly coached by this same bunch of morons. Haslett has to go...the sooner the better. Hopefully this nationally televised embarrassment will prompt Tom Benson the entire coaching staff.

Lest we forget, the Saints won a playoff game under Haslett...with Mike Ditka\'s team. And they\'ve gotten progressively worse since. So, how many more players are gonna be traded for sixth and seventh round draft choices?

Maybe we can trade Haslett and Ventura for no one to be named later!

Problem is, who you gonna pass the torch to? This coaching staff needs to be purged completely.
This might be the worst game I\'ve ever seen. Deuce is the light on an otherwise dismal team. But he can\'t be expected to carry the load of 21 other players. Having flashbacks of the early eighties.

Benson can flush the toilet after Haslett puts us into position for the # 1 pick in the draft , the team will have talent and it has been quite awhile since the Saints have had a no. 1 pick under center . Unless you count Kerry Collins .

Maybe you\'ve got something there black and blue. This organization may have actually taken23 years to come full circle.Maybe this years team will have a one win season like the 1980 team.If that\'s correct, then the next 6 or 7 years will be a steady incline in production. Then the Saints will have 4 or 5 good years. Then 4 really bad years. Then Zach Thomas( who was a pretty good linebacker in his day,and made his rounds in the NFL as a defensive coordinator.)will become the head coach. He will lead a team that was built by the previous regime to the playoffs and win the second playoff game in history. That should be around the year 2026.The next two seasons will be average with a steady decline. So,by the year 2029 we should be full circle again.

Note to self: Reserve season tickets for the 2026 season!

I guess laughter is the best medicine in this situation. This season is a waste! :P

See yall at the dome on sunday !
