I just have the strangest feeling we are going to give up our 1st round (32nd) and Jammal Brown to move up in the 1st round just not sure who with and who the FO is aiming for. Hopefully the best LB available.

Am I the only person that thinks we still need a corner? Basically, what we have are Porter and Greer and a bunch of safties. Greer was only out one play in the Super Bowl and everyone in the stadium knew that manning would throw at his replacement, and the colts did for a touchdown. Even Sean was heard saying, "We saw that coming." Had Greer been out for an extended periond in that game, we wouldn't be polishing the trophy right now.

But look at us when Greer was out for a couple of games last year. If I remember we brought in two oldtimers to fill in until he returned. Both Mike Mckenzie and Chris McAalister started in front of Young and Jenkins and whoever else we have. That tells me that Sean has no confidence in them. Except for a backup to Drew, we have adequate backups everywhere. Not many teams will be picking corners in front of us so it seems a good time to try to pick one up.

This kid might make it to the 3rd
Brandon Ghee, Wake Forest - Scouting Report Height: 6-0. Weight: 191. Projected 40 Time: 4.40. Combine 40 Time: 4.37. Pro Day 40 Time: DNP. Benchx225: 15. Broad: 10-2. Projected Round (2010): 2-3. 3/3/10: Brandon Ghee measured in a bit taller than he was listed (6-0 instead of 5-11) and then ran a great 40 (4.37). There's a good chance he goes in Round 2. 1/27/10: Numerous corners are shining at the Senior Bowl, and one of them is Brandon Ghee, who may have vaulted himself into late first-round consideration. Details available in the 2010 Senior Bowl section. 1/9/10: Brandon Ghee broke up eight passes in 2009. In a matchup against Demaryius Thomas, Ghee completely shut the athletic receiver down. 3/7/09: Though he missed two games with an ankle injury, Brandon Ghee still managed 35 tackles, seven passes broken up and 3.5 TFL. |
