I'm sure he had a say when it came to drafting Robinson for his defense. I also heard Williams mention somewhere that he's not a big fan of tweeners... so guys like Kindle wouldn't have been a good choice for his scheme.

I understand that Brown was a good value at #64, and he'll probably be playing the last 4-5 years of Drew's career, and after that with our next QB. But unless they let Greg Williams teach him to line up and tackle the guy running at the defense with the ball, he's not helping to solve a problem. I just hope there's another Colston-type sleeper masquerading as a DT in the 4-7 rounds who nobody talks about but turns out to be a phenomenal player on the D line. |
