Don't think Galette will be converted to OLB. Galette has basically never had to drop back in coverage, something a 4-3 SLB would have to do to be successful playing that position.

Galette is big enough, and fast enough, to play the position, but it all would depend on whether or not he could pick up the nuances of coverage responsibilities.

I guess the coaching staff believes that the players left are much worse than what we have.
We can still make a trade or sign other FAs that will be cut with experience.

I think the FO is happy with the OLBs we have. No worries

We still have the opportunity for a possible trade (or two), or better yet, pick up some good players who are cut by other teams due to their sheer numbers.

I really like a couple of the UDFA picked up by the Saints. Galette, Gresham, and Coleman.

Hey guys, Temple fan here.

Really excited and happy for Junior Galette being picked up (by NO especially). He was a real talent at Temple before heading to Stillman for his senior year, and made a lot of noise at the collegiate level.

Junior G came into Temple as a linebacker, and switched to DE as his career progressed. He is fast enough to play either way, and gets into the backfield very quickly.

He's an absolute monster, and I believe he would have been drafted if he didn't leave the Owls.

Good luck!
