“I don’t think Al Woods is going to blow anybody away,” Henderson said. “He’s more or less a project. I wouldn’t’ say they’ve addressed it. I still wish they had a better run-stopper in the middle. I don’t think Al Woods is gong to be that, certainly not right away.”

We will see if not taking a DT higher in the draft will hurt us right away..We face some stout backs next year...and that aint no lie...

8 teams with power/top backs this year - if you include Carolina and Falcons twice. If we go 8-8 or 9-7 I think we have to look back on this draft as a blown opportunity with all the DT's that were available.

Like who? Someone that wasn't rated high on our draft board? If that player was there and we felt that player would make an immediate impact for our interior line, I think we would have taken him. The top DT's in the draft were already off the board... Williams, Odrick, Alualu, McCoy, and Suh. Looking at where the second round DT's went, are you suggesting we should have reached and taken some of the third tier guys with our first round pick?

First tier - Suh and McCoy
Second tier - Williams, Odrick, Alualu
Third tier - everyone else

I have no qualms with how we addressed our "need"... the way we did.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.
