Re: LB Clint Ingram
I respectfully disagree. I don't think he visits and I think Hargrove is more of a playmaker for us than Henderson would be. He's not the same player he used to be. I actually think Ayodele is a very solid NT for us and that Ellis is going to make the jump from good to great this year.

Re: LB Clint Ingram
The Saints won the Super Bowl but there are two positions than can use an upgrade. Defensive tackle and Linebacker. Ellis is the best DT and he's not shown anything special so far. And since Brees is on the cover of Madden, a backup QB that's actually taken a snap in an NFL game would be nice.

Notwithstanding the DT stats provided; According to legend; "DTs stats dont matter as much as the LBs behind them......henderson clogs holes and eats double teams....he doesnt make a lot of plays but he creates a lot of plays for everybody else" So here are some LB stats to consider; Player Tackles, Sacks, Forced Fumbles, Int D. Smith 107, 1.5, 3, 1 J. Durant 98, 1, 1, 1 C. Ingram52, 1, 1, 0 257, 3.5, 5, 2 S. Shanle 69 0 0 2 J. Vilma 110 2 0 3 S. Fujita 58 1 2 0 237 3 2 5 You can draw your own conclusion, but to me, not much difference. |
