Realistic Observations (OK, they're excuses!)
OK, lets take a realistic and close look at whats happened to this team since the season began..
The defense truly sucks right now, BUT WHAT DID WE EXPECT???? Lets take the best defense in the league (Tampa Bay). Now take out Simeon Rice, Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks, Ronde Barber and John Lynch.Even the 2nd biggest Monte Kiffin fan (I would be #1) would tell you they'd probably stink it up. Well those are the EXACT positions we lost. And our 5 pale in comparison to those 5 pro-bowlers. While I'll admit our coaches are average at best, last night's melt-down had more to do with injuries catching up with us than with coaching. Although I'll admit both are problems. Yeah, it may sound like an excuse, but its all I got right now so leave me the f*ck alone! |
