I bet $10 on Calvin Borel on SuperSaver at 10-1 odds before that dude bet his $100K on them and changed the odds to 8-1 and won $100 tonight! I wish I had had $100K to put down on it. That would have won my $1 million! It takes money to make money and you gotta start somewhere I reckon, right?

Re: Sharper may sign deal soon?

Just imagine how deep our secondary is going to be if Sharper does re-sign after the addition of Robinson and with Vaughn coming back from injury. That would be scary for opposing QB's.

I have already thought it up D_it_up ma man! It's not scary to me. It's nothing but sweet news for us as Saints fans! Can you say repeat?

Re: Sharper may sign deal soon?

I want a copyright on what I'm about to write...

I just had a flash in my head...here's the scenario...

You're sitting at home watching the Saints pregame show, when they send it to the commercial.

The commercial begins with a close-up of DS...he's at his safety position and he is staring down the QB as he calls his cadences. Sweat is dripping from his nose, and you can hear his thoughts..."Yeah, throw that skinny-post one more time!"

The QB goes back to throw, the receiver breaks across the middle...with DLmen in his face, the QB gets off the throw just in time. It looks like it is right on target when suddenly DS jumps the route and appears between the QB and the receiver. He snatches the ball out of the air and proceeds to take it to the house for another Saints score.

As he turns towards the camera in the endzone, he reaches down into his sock and pulls out a "Sharpie" and signs the ball...then he runs to the sideline and gives it to one of the handicapped kids watching from the sideline. Then he turns to the camera and says, "I never leave home without my Sharpie!"

I don't know...either a good idea or papaw really came through with some good stuff this time.

Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

What a novel idea! Having a defense that's scary for opposing QB's!
