Re: Where JaMarcus Russell Could Potentially Land
Well in his defense Oakland has been a burning ship for years, The offensive line is horrible Darius Heyward-Bey LMMFBAO McFadden and Asamoah are the only good players on the team. You cant do well if you are set up to fail, I say if Sean P believes in him and has a plan then bring him in he's still very talented, but he was a project when he came out Al davis has done nothing to work on his weakness's but burn draft picks on ppl who run 1.9 40's. I believe in 2nd chances and if pacman can have em why cant Russell? He is on the hefty side but thats not an issue hes been big his whole life, he could slim down and be more mobile though. If Sean P can bring N.O a Super Bowl then I'm sure he can work with Russell and get the most out of his talents and refine the weakness's he has. All the above said personally I'd rather take a QB whos been in a passing offense as they can read coverages and its easier to coach them up and get them to produce if they have the tools
