Re: Russell or Brunell?
I think Brunell is pretty much done, but I would rather suit up a Lucky Dog vendor then have Russell as our backup

Re: Russell or Brunell?
Russell, because if he ever found a way to turn it around he could win. Brunell is sort of past his prime and while hes consistent in what he does, hes not good enough to have a winning team build around. So the question comes, if Brees gets hurt, would you rather have a QB whose floor is winningless but his ceiling has potential to get us into the playoffs and be a good QB, or a QB who would probably lead us to a 7-9 or 8-8 record. Meh it's a risk I'd be willing to take. It's not like we can get a backup that can do what Brees does.
