I hadn't heard that. A lot of reports about any of these kids are incorrect and/or guesses. What I read about him after the Saints drafted him was that he wasn't fast enough and in the next article I read about him it said that he was fast and ran a 4.38 at either the pro day or the combine, I don't recall which one.

If he does prove to be lazy, I think that Joe Vitt has connections to find something to pep him up some.

Too soon?

This kid has to understand that he's a No. 1 and he better contribute immediately...

They should have fan day with the draft picks so these guys can "appreciate" the lofty, special status that has been given them...

That, and they should make the league minimum, no more large rookie contracts...

Oh, and about my current avatar. I felt that the ice sculpture of Brees was appropriate as it was sculpted in my home town. I liked that picture of the poor goof that was trying to escape that polar bear too.
