Indeed. He has definitely turned into a solid #2 instead of just a deep threat.

Me too, because he is finally catching the ball!

You can't rag on people for giving up on Devery. I mean, come on, that last bad season he dropped about one of every 3 passes thrown his way.

He was bad. Yes, he could get long bomb TDs in the blink of an eye, but his drops were pretty critical in a lot of games. He stopped quite a few first downs that any professional receiver should have had.

It's not like we were over-reacting by wanting to get rid of a wide receiver, who after YEARS on the team, just couldn't catch. Yes, we would have made a mistake getting rid of him but it wouldn't have been an irrational mistake.

Frankly, we all got lucky that he miraculously learned how to catch. Damn glad he did, but it took him long enough.

"Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so." -- Douglas Adams.

Oh, I'm with you.

Being the LSU Homer that I am, I am glad that he has learned to soften up his hands. For the past couple of years many have been begging for his departure. I don't want people to eat crow or anything like that....I'm just glad his name isn't "MUD" right now.
