Al Woods
I think he has potential to start this year if he gets some work in with Williams and Johnson on his technique, and I think that eventually he might be considered our best pick of this draft. He is a physical freak and if he gets the lead out of his ass and develops properly he could be really really good.

Re: Al Woods
I'd like to see him be able to bring it on the D line. We have decent DEs and a good DT. We just need that beef in the middle to clog up the middle against the run and get some pressure on the QB.

Re: Al Woods
Yea I have a feeling our OLBs are going to have a good year, I think the final missing piece of the cog is that DT spot, which I'm hoping he can fill.

Re: Al Woods
He'll definitely get the coaching he has needed and not gotten so far now that he's at home in NOLA with the Big Boys! If anyone can make a man out of this mountain, it's these coaches...

Re: Al Woods
I don't expect Al Woods to come in right away and contribute. He's got great size and is very athletic, but the guy is very raw.
Not only did he come from a class A high school without redshirting, like you guys said, he didn't have the best coaching at LSU. I expect him to be a project player. I think right away we are better off with Hargrove and Ellis, and even Ayodele and Clancy (if he comes back). |
