For those of you in the Dome Sunday...
Can anyone confirm this?
I noticed something Sunday night, but it didn't seem like a big deal...until I read someone else's comment about it, and they made some sense. After Aaron got levelled and fumbled the ball, both Deuce and Joe Horn were fairly close to Aaron. He was lying on the turf, apparently stunned, with the wind knocked out of him, and neither of them went to help him up. The offensive line was already walking off the field, and Joe and Deuce both followed them, leaving Aaron to get up and walk off the field. Compare that to Micheal Lewis going down...there were a bunch of Saints standing around him, seeing how he was doing. That makes me wonder how this team feels about Aaron, and how much respect they give him. I'd be VERY interested in some feedback on this observation. |

This is a very astute post. I did notice it at the game, but until BMG pointed it out, I forgot about it. I think this is just another in a tell tale sign that Brooks is NOT the man for the job.

Nope, not my words.
I took them from another observer in the game Sunday and was riveted. I was curious if anyone here could confirm or deny it. |

Oh yeah, it happened. It was noticeable too. It seems like you and I (and a very small few others) know where most of the problems lie. Sure, you can\'t blame Brooks for all the offenses problems, but Duece is producing and other than Stallworth, the wideouts have played well when they\'ve gotten the ball. Having played some o-line, I can tell you that if the line has no respect for the qb, then they will underachieve. That is fact. And I can tell you one thing, there\'s a LOT of players on this team that don\'t respect Brooks. Pure and simple.
