75% of the games during the season are played in "cold weather" stadiums

just like a southern team to hate the idea of cold weather in the north.....i wasnt a fan at first, but some of the most memorable games ever were played in cold weather simply because of the weather

not to mention the fact that no matter where it is, there is a possibility that the weather will effect the game regardless

instead of trying to protect teams that pass the ball by playing in a dome, how about we acknowledge that there are lots of teams that base their games on the run and stout defense because they have to play in those "cold weather" cities all year long

You're probably right ... but it'll hurt the NFL brand in the long run as it'll be less marketable since the cold weather will allow much fewer activities during the Super Bowl week. And as far as the memorable games, you can likely only reference the very same 4 to 5 games in NFL History whereas you don't have enough fingers to account for all of the memorable games in good weather. While it might be kinda cool to see a snow game from time to time, it'll hurt the game more than it would entertain us.

much like the city of new orleans has a bond with its football team, many northern cities share a similar bond

people will watch the super bowl regardless of where it is played

not as many things to do in chicago or new york as there are in new orleans?

the climate may make the game colder, but its not going to prevent tourism all together

i think this is just like a Y2K scare......we are worried because its never happened but in the end it really wont make a difference
