Does anyone know if Jean L'hoste is a member here?

A couple of years back I registered here but let my account relapse.

At the time, Jean's userid was I belive Z-Man or something. He's an old high school friend of mine from DelaSalle.

You gotta know Mike and Pat Deloney from the Westbank. Mike and I are friends. Mike graduated from DSalle in 78 and I graduated in 78 from West Jeff. Pat was a couple of years behind us and should've graduated in 80 for DSalle?

Goes way back to high school. We were changing classes one day, and I asked my best friend, Dwight, "Hey, do you know Hal Fiore?"

Pick, as I called him because of his last name, answers, "No...but I know Ronnie Katz!"

I'm like...:confused:

(I actually knew where he was going with that, because Ronnie and Hal looked a little alike...and that made it even more confusing...because if he knew that...ahhh...nevermind.)

...and then there was the time that Pick asked me while we were riding down Pass Rd. in Gulfport one day, "Hey, do you know what time it is?"

I answer, "No...but a minute ago the guy on the radio said it was 1:01."

Pick hollers back, "THEN IT'S 1:02!"

Man...memories. The 2 of us were riding down 2nd St. one night. Nobody had spoken a word for about the last 2 or 3 minutes...I mean, you coulda heard crickets chirping. Then, out of the clear blue sky...and the radio had not been on the whole time...he and I start singing at exactly the same moment..."Oh, oh Cambita.." That was too weird, because neither of us could remember having heard that song that night...and it wasn't popular at the time that it happened...so we were like speechless.

OK...I thought of one more.

Pick and I and a couple other of our friends were looking for Pick's grandmother's house one night right after Archie and the Rebs had totally demolished Alabama in Jackson, MS. Pick was kinda lost, and we were all getting a little irritated because it was getting late and we were all tired and ready for bed, when all the sudden Pick exclaims while driving past a Kroger's grocery store, "Hey...I know where we're at now because I know that's Kroger's!"

I'm like, "Yeah...well I know that's Kroger's and I have no idea where the hell we're at!"

Again...you had to be there. :)
