Would I have liked better compensation from our former All Pro tackle? Of course... but what we received wasn't absolutely terrible and it's certainly better than a ball of nothing. Besides Brees, practically everyone is replaceable. Last time I checked, Bushrod did a good enough job which helped us win a Superbowl.

Yeah, but winning a superbowl? That's not enough papz... I'm not saying Bushrod is better than Brown. What I am saying, is that after sitting out a year, Canton, I would bet my money towards "not as good", before I'm going to think he's going to come back, and jump right back into pro bowl form. The skins are already projecting him at right tackle, not left. Now what does that say? Shanahan knows a thing or two about building an O-line, don't you agree? Projected at RT, with a second year rookie, starting at LT. I know projections are just that, but even his new team has doubts about his abilities on the left side. Either way, he's gone, so whatever....
