Vuvuzela at Saints games

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Those things are too stupid for words, why even bother blowing into something that only the crowd around you can hear unless over 1000 people are blowing them at the sametime?...

Re: Vuvuzela at Saints games

Euphoria beat me to it...and I agree and repeat what Euphoria said.

Vuvzelas here at Saints games or ANY where in the NFL, no.
They are native to the people and culture of South Africa.
It was fine there for World Cup.

If any NFLteams'fans think it is all the rage,in fashion,I bet they will have those horns confiscated or be taken out of the stadium.

NFL , or any sports league here is not going to allow them. They are so loud , not the natural voices and cheers of people, and if so used, the whole game will be 2 hours of this noise. Each side's team will blow when their team has possession of the ball. The whole game will be this noise.
Think about that.

No vuvuzelas!!!

I don't know why this is even a discussion. The horns are native to that country/culture. It should stay there. Thats like the South Aficans bringing crawfish to the games... why would they, why should they?

Drunk football fan beats police officer with vuvuzela

A drunken German football fan severely beat a police officer with a vuvuzela horn after the national team’s victory over Ghana on Wednesday night, the authorities in North Rhine-Westphalia said on Thursday.

Most of the celebrations in the town of Dinslaken just north of Duisburg were peaceful after the game, which more than 10,000 people turned out to watch, the Wesel county police department reported.

But at 11:10 pm, one intoxicated 20-year-old fan began taunting a police officer who was directing traffic around a gathering of some 1,500 people.

“As he turned to the 20-year-old, the man suddenly began hitting and kicking the officer,” the statement said. “Furthermore he began pounding the officer’s head with a vuvuzela.”

Can you imagine a bunch of Vikings fans with these in their hands after we squash them like a grape?

YES I CAN ..... Since Brett wants to be on the ground again after today's announcement. We can also hand out paper bags to Vikings' fans at the Superdome as they enter and leave the stadium, since we no longer need them.

Saw three people in the ATL airport this week w those vuzu-things. You're crazy if you don't think they'll infiltrate sporting events in the U.S.

Re: Vuvuzela at Saints games

I have no idea what you guys are even talking about. I watched one soccer game about ten years ago, and as long as it was, it's probably still going on right now. To each their own, but to me, soccer blows enough, without the use of a horn.... NFL is the only real football I know. I would rather watch dope smoking, hippie d-bags, play hacky sack in the park.
