A few highlights from Drew Brees' press conference held earlier today.
"I've had some unique opportunities this offseason," Brees said, wearing his gold Super Bowl ring with the Saints logo embedded in the middle.

Playing Pebble Beach, home of this year's U.S. Open. A USO Tour trip to Dubai, Turkey and Africa. Throwing out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium with his son, Baylen.
-- Brees' life has changed since hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy, along with Baylen following the Saints' 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in February.
Time management is crucial since playing quarterback for the Saints, his work with the Brees Foundation and spending time with his family are his top priorities.
"I've been given such a platform to make a difference through our foundation that I want to do as much as I can," Brees said.
"You have to say no a lot of times; a lot more than you want. I hope people understand."
Brees talked about a variety of subjects during the nearly hour-long press conference:
-- Brees played Pebble Beach about a week before the U.S. Open. His foursome included actor Mark Wahlberg and former NHL star Wayne Gretsky. Brees shot a 102.
"It was a poor performance," Brees said. "I didn't play a practice round and just showed up. If I had another shot at the course, I could get down to 90."
-- On the Gulf Coast oil spill: "This is a terrible deal and it's a lot more serious than a lot of us think right now. The long term effects could be awful."
The Saints are raffling one of the team's Super Bowl rings to help raise money. For more information, go to www.saintsgulfcoastrenewal.com. The winner will be announced Sept. 9 when New Orleans hosts Minnesota.
--On celebrating the Super Bowl title with Baylen on the field: "I felt like we were the only two people on earth. It was me and him."
Brees and his wife, Brittany, joke that when Baylen starts school, he should dominate the show-and-tell segment of class.
"He can walk in and say, 'Anybody else been on the cover of Sports Illustrated?' " Brees said.
