Re: CONGRATULATIONS Ragincajun83 !!!!!
I'm worn out now. whew! These are some noisy, crazy, fun families.
CONGRATULATIONS RAGINCAJUN83! / Tiffany & Brandon They married last friday night in the Woodlands in the presence of a large crowd of friends and loved ones, and then proceeded to party it up in style, dressed exquisitely, of course, late into the night. Tiffany and her father set the tone for the beauty of the evening with their bride and father dance. She chose a classically elegant, long-trained dress, and never stopped smiling. Her sisters, close girl friends, mom, exceptionally young-looking-grandmother, and numerous well dressed ladies, joined her in making the dance floor a lovely sight all night. It was a very notable celebration, including their outstanding dinner, impressive full bar selection, and interesting people throughout the room. The Lafayette Table alone could have been it's own party. These folks were just nuts! I particularly enjoyed meeting Brandon's full-blooded Cajun grandparents. Again, I walk away more educated. There was much revelry, conversation and lots of dancing, not to mention an impromptu second line like I havent seen since football season. There were definite Saints themes throughout the night from the "Saints gridiron" grooms cake, to the amazing Fleur De Lis ice scuplture, to my chilling audio sound byte of "Pigs are flying/ Hell has frozen over" after dinner while "Do Whatcha Wanna" played in the background. After a raucous "down the home stretch" dance party finale, we grabbed the sparklers and wrapped up to "When the Saints Go Marching In." Those of us among the "help," worked our tails off, and it was 100% worth it to see the smiles on our Bride and Groom, and all of their guests. Congratulations, Brandon and Tiffany. It was an honor and privilege being your emcee. |
