Are you nervous or excited for the start of the season?
 

I'm a bit both. I'm anxious more than anything. I just dont want us to lose the will to win. We have to go into this season with the same hungry attitude in order to make it to the Superbowl again. What are your thoughts?

Pump'd up here. I think if we beat the Vikings it's going to get the machine going early and that's bad news for our opponents.

I want to be cocky and say when we beat the Vikings and not if but there's still training camp and pre-season to get through (serious)injury-free which seems to be tough for us.

I am geeked for the upcoming season. The Saints actually have a great opportunity to be better than last year. Because of new free agency rules, the Saints did not get their roster raided like previous Super Bowl Champions of the past. The Saints must take care of business again in 2010, because after that who knows. All I know is right now things are in place for the Saints to repeat! I know a repeat is rare, but the circumstances are really in the Saints favor this year.

This year we're the defending Superbowl Champions and history is not on our side.

Heck, I was nervous last year and we were opening with the lions! It's sure no different this year.

Im nervous,,,,,,,its not gonna be easy....but we got the best leaderships on and off the field to ENSURE that everyone will give their best efforts. But the Saints have a better shot at repeating than any other past champions i feel. This team can beat anybody on any given sunday and vice versa any team including the Saints can be beaten on any given Sunday.

it took about what, 3 quarters til the lions folded. i think payton will have the machine oiled and ready for 4 quarters.

My excitement grows every day it gets closer to opening night against the 'Queens. It can't get here fast enough.

This will be the first time in 28 years that I'm going to say, (and here I am saying it for the 1st time this off-season) "You know, I think this is going to be THE Season. " Look it up. I said it last summer on this board.

I have said this every year, and people laugh at me, and I laugh at myself too, but this is the first time ever that it doesnt sound so crazy.

Dont worry. We'll be plenty motivated, as repeating is now the unthinkable thought. You'll be just as happy when we do.

But right now, it feels like one of my kids has grown up and left the house. Its not crazy anymore when I say, "You know, I think this is going to be THE Season."

I kinda miss being crazy.

I can't stand the anticipation . . . I am amped up ready to show everyone we are the real deal. I pray everyday for Farve to return so we can again show him he made a bad decision about not retiring.

I'm excited and really looking forward to the season starting again!

With regards to the team being hungry. Of course they will be! The more times that the media and other teams fans say that we have no chance to win the Superbowl again this upcoming season the more it will pump up the team to prove them wrong!!!!!

I hope Farve does come back and at the end of the first game I hope we make him wish he hadn't!!!!! LOL.

I really think when that banner drops that the dome is going to explode. Farve and Co. aint ready for the Who Dat Nation. Can you imagine the hype leading up to this game. Its going to be the first game of the season and ESPN will be hyping it up all week. I cant freaking wait. Farve on the ground pt. 2
